I had a painful callous on my foot for over a year. After learning to walk more effectively and ensuring my footwear was suitable, this issue has completely disappeared.

“Over several years, I have attended weekly classes led by Chris Owen, including Yoga for Fitness sessions, Pilates classes and online Zoom sessions. I have also taken part in Body Conditioning classes and a Back Care Course.
Chris’s depth of knowledge and ability as an instructor really stands out. Her teaching style is friendly, patient and highly attentive to individual needs. Sessions are carefully planned and well managed, creating an inclusive and supportive environment.
I enrolled on the Back Care Course due to long-standing soreness in my lower right back. Each of the six sessions was thoughtfully structured, combining mindful breathing, gentle loosening work and slow, controlled movements, with videos provided for home practice.
By the end of the course, my back was noticeably less sore, and more importantly, I had a much better understanding of how to care for it going forward. I would recommend this course to anyone wishing to look after their back and overall movement health.”

“I took part in a four-week Back Care Pilates course on Zoom and found it extremely helpful. The exercises gently stretched, mobilised and strengthened the back without strain, using a mix of standing, seated and floor-based work with simple equipment.
Chris followed up each session with clear videos for home practice, and I now feel confident using the exercises independently to support posture and relieve tightness. She pays close attention on Zoom, offering individual suggestions and corrections, and there is always time to ask questions. I felt the course offered very good value and was extremely well delivered.”

She provided specific exercises to help maintain mobility in my arm and to prepare for radiotherapy, and even came to my home to guide me through them.
Chris explained the importance of the exercises clearly and gave me confidence to do them regularly. I’m very happy to say I made a full recovery, and Chris played a huge part in that. She is patient, caring and incredibly supportive, and helped me through a very difficult time.”
